I don't open posts with "graphics comparison: Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2" in the title.

I don't bother reading the thread when I see the OP claims the Wii is closer to the Ps3 than the XB.

I do, however, post in un-realistic sales related threads.

It'll either annoy me, or make me annoy other people. Well, at least in many cases. So why bother?

Hyping a game is fun as heck (I know that from experience). Seeing other people hype a game (while you don't know a lot about it) isn't... quite as fun. I'd love to say I'm not stupid like that, but I am - and I think you're lying if you try to convince yourself you're not.

No, just anti-irrationality, and right now the PS3 fanboys are trying to corner the market on delusions.

So you dont like the fact they are excited about a new exclusive?

I gotta admit this games getting far to over hyped, but i can name quite a few nintendo and MS games getting the same amount aswell.

*sigh* These topics are really annoying. Why is it that ppl think that PS3 needs saving? The PS3 is a great console with great games, it's sales are not as high as ppl would have thought but that doesn't mean it needs saving. I think that nintendo fanboys are the most annoying of the 3, especially when they complain about how annoying PS3/360 fanboys are. Just let it go.

Yeah, because the word of mouth of people who played the beta, all the great trailers, all the previews, the screenshots, the gifs showcasing impressive explosions, death animations, physics, AI are not counted as something to base on.

I'd be damned if I'd let you or anyone else stop me from talking about a game I'm excited for just because YOU hate it.
Especially from this selfish view stemming from your virtual pissing contest with the so called "PS3 fanboys"(Name people who claim the PS3 is going to destroy sony's competition once KZ2 releases).
Also, just because there's a few bad eggs in the PS3 camp doesn't nescessarily mean everyone is a "delusional fanboy" hyping the game non stop because they want their lord savior the PS3 to win the 7th Holy grail war. Most are just genuinely interested and excited people who want to play and know more about the game.

Now I would suggest you stop whining and cut out this personnal blog drama crap.
If people talk about a game they like that you don't like. Then just ignore that thread.
Talk about a game you're looking forward to instead.
If I saw people hyping about the next Zelda, I'd let them be and let them enjoy their talk since I understand it's a game they're excited for, of course I'm not the one with the sig hating on the competitor instead of touting my system of choice, while at the same time proclaiming "I'm level headed when it comes to this fanboy stuff."

 I spend quite a long time in the Sony forums, probably more than you seeing as the PS3 is my primary console. I have yet to see anyone claim Killzone 2 to be the PS3 "savior". And I haven't seen a rational PS3 fan (a.k.a not Rock_on, leo-j, etc) claim that any game will be the PS3 "savior" for at least a year. In fact the only time I see the phrase "PS3 savior" mentioned these days is by PS3 haters trying to troll on a PS3 game.

The phrase is about as annoying as saying "The Wii is a toy for babies lulz".

I think KZ2 will be great..

Yeah, that's a good point. I think that the people who react on someone "fanboying" pro another system oftenly exaggarates incredibly much about how much they were doing it.

It's getting really heavy anti-Ps3 now, which is actually quite surprising, considering it is (allegedly) the highest represented system on the site.

You know what would be interesting? To have another poll "what system is your main system" and see if the X360 amount hasn't increased and the Ps3 decreased.

I mean, the "just wait for..." frase has been used a lot by both Microsoft owners and Nintendo owners in 2008. 

Microsoft owners: Just wait for Gears 2, it will make X360 catch up to Ps3 again.

Wii owners: Our games aren't crap, just wait for Zelda, Kid Icarus, Madworld, The Conduit (etc).

Whereas the Sony owners did in the first 3 quarters mainly say something ala "it's going the right way, soon we'll catch up to the Wii, or end shortly behind". That isn't likely, but I'm exaggarating against all consoles right now.

My point is, in 2008, the Ps3 owners are the ones that has used the "just wait for____" frase the least.
