My list of anticipation for both the PS3/Xbox 360 as it stands currently for exclusive type content:

1. Halo ODST (Bungie...)
2. God of War III (Kratos...)
3. Alan Wake (Remedy...)
4. Killzone 2 (Mmm beta was awesome)
5. Heavy Rain (Premise/Developer to good to be true)
6. Mass Effect 2? (Yes please..)
7. Uncharted 2. (Of course)
8. GT5 OR Forza 3 (One not both haha)
9. Infamous (Super hero? Yes please!)
10. Dead Island (Zombie heaven)

My suggestion for the humble people here?

• Get the HD system you don't have because theres enough fantastic content for both to really make your head spin.

Afterall, wether you for example buy Left 4 Dead on PC or 360 you are still lining microsofts pockets, so how ever many few joint pc/ps3 owners there are out there, go ahead, buy left 4 Dead on PC, your still lining microsofts pockets

I don't care that MS gets the proceeds either way. What I care about is the 'console' exclusives getting scoffed at and the strikethrough font treatment applied as if it's automatic disqualification. We all take it for granted that people have gaming PCs on top of our consoles being members of an Internet forum when in actuality there are many people that don't have both, probably a higher percentage too.  All these 'disqualified' games count immensely in that scenario.

Mass Effect 2 is coming in 2009 for the 360,you probably have to wait 1 year for a pc port and even that is just a probability,because you don`t know if it`s a timed or full exclusive. MS owns the ME universe,so we have to wait and see.

Alan Wake is a 360 game,but gets a pc port because of Vista,you have to have Vista on your pc,and nobody likes that. I prefer to buy the 360 disc instead of installing vista,so that`s a 360 exclusive if you ask me.

Splinter Cell Conviction -> timed 360 exclusive or a pc/360 game day 1 ? Nobody knows,we will know in march at a conference. But do you have the hardware to run it? Will you upgrade or invest more than 199$ in your pc? Same goes for Alan Wake.

Kingdom under fire 2 -> why nobody mentions this great game? Because MS doesn`t announces it`s games years in advanced? Could be.

Race Pro -> a challlenger to GT5 but nobody knows...Simbin is known for it`s realism in driving games,and GT5 isn`t even out yet...but doesn`t matter,it will be a great game.

Ninja Blade -> after playing both Ninja Gaiden games,i`m looking forward to this one...Nice graphics and gameplay,nice story...looks like a nice game,what`s the hate for?

Do I have the money to do that? No... so I`ll be watching all the ps3 exclusives on the net,like I have been doing since I saw something that I found to be disturbing -> 599$

not that I really care what the xbox gets but I had a good laugh at this thread. I mean seriously, half of the 360's supposed exclusives aren't exclusives but multiplatform games (i.e. they are available on pc ALSO), yet the xbox fanboys can't resist calling them exclusives...
Also, L4D is not a 360 exclusive...uh oh, another fail.
Shio (as much as that guy is in love with the pc), summed it up well - out of that entire list of trashy games (imo), more than half of them are on pc as well.
Maybe, if the 360 had something worth hyping, then you'd see more threads like this...lol, the most obvious conclusion is sadly the one most fiercely ignored.
And splinter cell conviction? LOL, you remind me of wii fanboys...this game (mark my words) will be also be on ps3 (unless published by MS) - not to mention the game is vapourware but hold on to it for dear life, we all know you need it to bolster your list of fail. And to be honest, there is nothing stopping mass effect eventually coming to the ps3 (and knowing EA, it is more than likely)
And Halo Wars? You're kidding me right. a RTS on a console? have fun!, though doesn't having a RTS on a console defeat the purpose of a RTS game in the first place. Not to mention ES are only renowned for AOE which is ONLY so awesome because it is on pc. But who knows, maybe it will be o.k., I haven't played it but I know one thing, I sure prefer the ancient/historical perspective that AOE takes rather than MS's need to milk the cash cow halo for all its worth.
Alan Wake is not a 360 exclusive either...but sigh, you haven't got anything else really to claim as your own so why not hey? Pity it just shows desperation on behalf of all 360 fanboys.
Forza 3? vs GT5? nuff said.
Another halo? Well, can't say I really enjoyed halo 3. Lucky for me that game was a stern warning never to buy another halo game (at least in this gen), and this new halo, and the aforementioned halo wars only consolidate this.

This sie is about videogame sales. Either you put the 360/PC games in a seperated list and marked them as such, or just remove them completely.

We had this same issue in last year's thread and the OP was forced to seperated the exclusives from non-exclusives.

They just have to release them the year after to be called 2010 exclusives!

Why did you even click on this thread? You came here looking for an argument.  You saw the thread title and straight away started romanticising the opportunity to apply the strikethrough font to the 'console' exclusives.

I have no doubt that given the lopsided fans on the site such a move would be imposed.  I don't think we should downplay their significance is all.  I would be very surprised if >30% of PS3/Wii owners use or even have a gaming PC to negate these exclusives as you're implying.
