His name is MontanaHatchet.

Take a wild guess at his nationality.

The thing is...it's in my profile too. Maybe I could be mistaken for being Cuban, but that's about it.

Either way, to say that the entire forming of a nation was because of rich Jewish people is pretty absurd. Heck, why not make a Jewish state while we're at it?

Thats what happend in 1947 in the Middle East ...

I was talking about a U.S. state, since apparently rich Jewish people controlled government decisions.

There is only so much a government can be influenced but IMO it would really have made a better solution

The US had nothing to do with Israel being created... continueing to suggest that to be so makes you look ignorant.

Yeah... look up "The British Mandate".

It is what led to the creation of Israel....

issued by the League of Nations.

What country wasn't in the league of nations?

That's right... the United States.

You think Israël is going to listen to us after Obama already stated before that he support Israël?

what? The British Peel Commission proposed a Palestine divided between a Jewish and an Arab State, but in time changed their position and sought to limit Jewish immigration from Europe to a minimum. This was seen by Zionists and their sympathisers as betrayal of the terms of the mandate, especially in light of the increasing persecution in Europe and was met with a popular uprising and guerrilla war from Jewish terrorist groups, often viewed as one of several factors that led the British to hand the problem over to the United Nations. edit ? Issues relating to the state of Israel, the Palestinian people and other aspects of the Arab-Israeli conflict occupy a large amount of debate time, resolutions and resources at the United Nations. The adoption of UNSCOP's recommendation to partition Palestine by the United Nations General Assembly in 1947[51] was one of the earliest decisions of the UN. Since then, it maintained a central role in this region, especially by providing support for Palestinian refugees via the UNRWA and by providing a platform for Palestinian political claims via the CEIRPP, the UNDPR, the SCIIP, the UNISPAL and the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The UN has sponsored several peace negotiations between the parties, the latest being the 2002 Road map for peace. In recent years, the Middle East was the subject of 76% of country-specific UNGA resolutions, 100% of the Human Rights Council resolutions, 100% of the Commission on the Status of Women resolutions, 50% of reports from the World Food Program, 6% of Security Council resolutions and 6 of the 10 Emergency sessions. Of note is Resolution 3379 (1975) stating that "zionism is racism"; it was rescinded in 1991. These decisions, passed with the support of the OIC countries, invariably criticize Israel for its treatment of Palestinians. Many have qualified this degree of criticism as excessive.[who?] In particular, the UNHRC was widely criticized in 2007 for failing to condemn other human rights abusers besides Israel. The United States has been criticized as well as supported for vetoing most UNSC decisions critical of Israel on the basis of their biased language, the so-called Negroponte doctrine.

@joop, I am not sure what you meant in your response to my last post. I know Israel did and is taking land from Palestinians and my many posts on this subject should make that pretty obvious.

Also, your exactly right on the reason why Brittan handed the issue over to UN. Constant attacks from Irgun and Stern Gang (Israeli Terrorist groups).

EDIT: also, could you please use some basic grammar. Capitalization and proper paragraphs do a lot for your credibility.

Not sure what that has to do with anything.

It all started with the league of nations giving the UK a mandate which states the UK had control only so far as to create a Jewish state.

The fact that the UK later decided they didn't want to do this is irrelevent.

The original Palestinian Mandate had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of a Jewish State. It was part of dividing up the old Ottoman lands after WWI.

During which the British had promised that if the Arabs rise up against he Ottomans, any land that has a majority Arab population would be left under Arab control. That happened everywhere but Palestine.

Furthermore, the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which was the first mention of a Jewish *homeland* was clearly that. A promise of a homeland NOT a State.

Read it here, it is a huge mess of contradiction in its wording.
