@ Nintendo_fanboy. I own both SMG and Kart. I would have to say i prefer Kart but that's just down to preferring the genre. SMG received amazing acclaim but that doesn't always help sales. Maybe Kart is more mainstream?

 

 Yeah it probably is, and it makes completely sense that it sells better than Galaxy. It's just that one and a half years ago, we were not realising this. There was talk about the "big three" then, with people arguing if Galaxy or Brawl will be the better seller, while nobody had Kart on the Radar. (of course it wasn't announced back then, but anyways.)

And some people were making predictions amongst the lines of the current Kart sales, just for one of the other two games (usually Galaxy). Of course this was also encouraged by the numbers on the DS, where New Super Mario Bros. was the monster and Kart was "only" the massive success.

Given how well the Wii sells I'd say it probably will eventually, but if either eventually gets bundled then all bets are off.

Ah... in which case, I don't think so.... by the end of 2009 SMG + SSBB will be about 21-22 million.... a figure which I do think MKWii will manage, but not until 2010.
