Here are some new images of Konami's Metal Gear Solid Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch, the story is based on MGS4, but the genre is strictly shooting. Producer Yasuyo Watanabe explained that because iPod Touch and iPhone are not game console, so the gameplay should be simplified. The game will have a simple touch shooting interface. You use finger to adjust the target and tab the screen to shoot.

 

 

 

 

 

This game looks very interesting, but nobody talk about it.  Are you going to buy an Iphone/Ipod just to play this side story?

 

I'm impressed with the graphics of this thing..... Can someone tell me the specs of the Iphone or doing a comparison with the PSP?

All i gotta say is as much of a big MG fan i am and having played every one my answer to this would be a resounding Heeelll Nooooo. I will not buy it, since i dont have a ipod touch and i will not get one just for this.

I still don't understand why they would do this... A PSP game would likely do better. I don't see people going crazy to get an iPhone/iPod Touch for this. At least, I certainly don't see myself doing that.

yea i'm not going to get a iphone/ipod touch just to play this.  I'll find a way to play it but will not buy something xpansive like that to play 1 thing even if i am a fan.

yeah looks kinda dumb IMO i dont have very high hopes for Ipod touch games. There are a few that are good but its alot like the wii. Theres alot of shovelware but a few burried nuggets of gold Hopefully this game surpriss me



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!
