Plus it doesn't look like that Yahtzees gets Smash Bros. He lumps it with all the other fighters saying button smashers can beat pros. I would like to see one instance that a button smasher can be a Smash pro. It would never happen. Sure it can happen in games like Virtual Fighter, Tekken, Soul Caliber, etc.. but never in Smash...

Kyros being a fanboy again >_

Except for portal, if you took Yahtzees word, every single game this generation is shitty,

Not true, he never says they are great (besides Half Life 2, Portal, Thief and Sands of time) But he grudgingly acknowledged that some have been fun playing although deeply flawed.

For example GTA4, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Left 4 Dead, God of War Chains of Olympus ...

And he is almost always correct.

zero punctuation is just for fun XDDD

It is true that Yathzee doesn't give the religiously considered percentage notes of other reviewers. (Yeah my game got 95.556 on metacritic (sick) and 0.003 more than your game so its much better LOL) His comments are still a much better review than all these magazine twats who score a game depending on its predecessors and technicalities alone. And regarding the CPU LVL9 comment you should really watch the first ZEro Punctuation Mailbag link. Fits perfect

There's no way that a pro can beaten by a newbie in games like Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter. SSBB is definitely not alone in that regard. Look at this video for example and tell me a newb could compete with this:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KS7hkwbKmBM

I don't doubt SSBB has a lot of depth but I don't like the way it handles depth. I prefer having a huge moveset and perfect timing and execution compared to dashing in and out whilst using the 'enormous' skillset of 10 moves. I prefer mastering characters individually. There's barely any differentiation between characters, they all have the same button combination and once you master one character it's just a question of spending 10 minutes finding out what another character's moves are. Online is the game-breaker for me anyway. It's not acceptable in this day and age.

If you dont like it, sell it. Don't come here trying to rant on how you dont, that makes you look like a troll.

You should've done research before you bought it anyway. If you have never played any of the games there before, such as another Smash, Mario Kart, or Metroid, then its your own fault for being a stupid consumer.

Now go back to your bridge.

In my opinion, the true revolution of the Nintendo Wii is that the approachable controls enable the Wii to be the most successful social gaming system that has ever been created ...

My mother is a woman who doesn't use her iPod because it is too complicated, needs help entering contact information into her cellphone, and dislikes her Window's laptop because it expects her to use a mouse and she had a great time playing Boom Blox on the Wii when we played it this Christmas. In order to understand how rare that was, the last videogame she played was Duck Hunt on the NES.

Now, it could just be me but I would say that a system that enables a 59 year old grandmother to play videogames with her gamer son, 5 year old gamer grandson, and "Casual" gamer daughter in law and everyone enjoys the experience is a revolutionary system.

Yahtzee does not represent the opinions of all European tourists in australia because the rest of them are getting drunk, laid and stoned. Yahtzee is an opinionated twat who criticizes every game released.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
