the wii looks good on my hd 32" lcd so no doubt it will look good on a 42", but my wii ive reverted back to phono so i play in sd. still looks great because of the sharp picture on the hd telly

I play on a 107 cm plasma and burn-in is only a problem with a black screen otherwise it isn't really noticeable

Have a Panasonic 42PZ85 Plasma, there was slight image retention in the first few weeks but after that initial breaking in period it has been fine ever since.

I have a 42 inch 1080p Insignia Flat-Panel LCD and the games look great on it.

I dunno, I have a buddy that owns a Sears store and he had to go to special training in Chicago just for LCD's and Plasmas.

What he told me is I would be a fool to EVER purchase a plasma instead of an LCD.

Yes... I have mine on a 42" Westinghouse LCD... BTW, LCD is clearly the better choice for gaming, if not in general...

Whatever you do, do NOT get a DLP TV. DO NOT.

Very helpful thread and great info. I was thinking of going with a 37 inch Samsung LCD but was sort of fence for which was better for the Wii Plasma or LCD. Ima go with the LCD.

Whats so bad about DLP? store clerks at best buy always say how its the best?
