If you assume that sales will maintain these proportions the Wii will pass the PSP sometime in 2009

Well, how much of an effect when the release of the PSP Slim affect things??? It could get people exicted about PSP and start buying more games.

On the current pace, 120 weeks or 2.3 years. But this doesn't take into account the holidays or major games which will most likely shorten that time frame. Supply is another issue.

Too many variables but I'd say holidays 2008.

@all - I don't have a real issue with this thread. Its a real question, although slightly irrelevant (maybe in 6 months it would be more relevant).

I will lock this for now, to avoid potential flame wars starting. Maybe revisit in 6 months.

(PS - it will be interesting to see how the Wii sells this Xmas vrs PSP - I think the PSP will actually outsell it - or get close...).
