i really enjoyed super stardust HD, Pain, Echochrome, tekken 5 dark ressurrection, Everydayshooter, some good psn games. PSOne classics are pretty good too, i bought spyro the dragon to relieve childhood memories. If you like shooters, buy R1, then R2, good games an FPS fan can not pass up.

check out as many demos as you can of all games. Definitely Warhawk's demo though.

Yeah for several reasons:

1. Games ported to the 360 look better than games ported to the ps3.

Yeah I thought the game is alright, I'm gonna play the demo at my own house tomorrow. Do you happen to know if this is in the greatest hits catagory?

i dont think its in the greatest hits catagory but i was at a localy owned game store and they had it for 29.99

Get SuperStardust HD and all it's addon's, it's like 15 bucks for a TON of awesome.

Play Ratchet and Clank futures, Uncharted, Warhawk, Resistance 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Wipeout HD, Pixeljunk Eden, Pixeljunk Monsters, and Metal Gear Solid 4 ^^ I'm missing a bunch, but I can't think at the moment :3 so just start with those ^_^

The PixelJunk games are my most anticipated for when I get a PS3!!! yes even more so than LBP!

it'd be a good Idea to get VC first since the prices might skyrocket later(ebay). you can easily find the rest.

motorstorm PR
ratchet and clanck:future
heavenly sword(you can find it cheap brand new and it's an epic game)
siren(if you like scary games)
valkyria chronicles(if you like RPG)
socom/warhawk (if you like online only games)


get some of those game and save the rest of your money for 09,,,many many good title in 09 for PS3.

Try the PS3 demos, rent Blu-Rays and rent PS3 games. PS3 games recommended purchases I would say UnCharted or LBP. I would say rent MGS 4, Heavenly Sword and Resistance 2.
