Its kinda true though, alot of people really like the games on the PS3 but not the PS3 itself because of its price.

Games on the PS3 = makes people happy.

PS3 Price-Point which was reduced = makes people "Stage 1 A bit upset" "Stage 2 Envy" "Stage 3 downright pissed" "Stage 4 Anti-PS3" "Stage 5 comes up with enough money to buy it then slowly becomes a PS3 fanboy him/herself or becomes neutral to all cones"

I know of alot of people whos went through these phases lmao.

Dont let the price scare you guys off really its worth it.

Also about the 360...i've been saying i only wanted Star ocean 4...Well theres one other game to... wanna guess? if you do you get a loli-pop. :)

Ninja Blade!

Wrong man! try again lol. heres a hint its a...eh M rated game... :D

can we get back on topic?

*ahem* sure lol...i'll post a thead about it later, get ready for some lulz.

Hmm, this can only be good news for Microsoft.

I wonder what the numbers imply for the Wii? More casual userbase = less average playtime per console inspite of the greater % of people using it?

Yeah!

The Wii is full of Grandparents. The PS3 is curing cancer.

This seems to directly contradict the statement that the Wii gets a greater usuage from many different family members. If the Wii had a usage model which follows this pattern then shouldn't the Wii's usage be relatively much higher?

Furthermore usage statistics like these would imply that the Wiis attach rate per console will drop substantially compared to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 because if you take 1.) Games which can be replayed more often and 2.) reduced playtime relative to the competition; then software sales will not keep up as a relative % of userbase as the % increase of total consoles stabalise.

Shameless bump of post.

Tease.

Why did yew do dat Squall?

Ok, why miss the holiday period? Jan to Oct means the Wii misses its most popular period over the christmas holidays

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

another nerd war over numbers.

Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.

Wii: 135 mil

Ps3: 85 mil

360: 60 mil
