I'm not into these games, but the fact that the Wiimote slips into the guitar could be interesting.  Maybe you get to mimic some famous rock poses. 

There have been pictures of the Wii guitar for quite some time now...

But I don't think a price has been unveiled til now. And I was hoping it'd be more like $70, since the Wiimote pops in, I figured they'd save money on guitar functionality that way. Oh well...I'll probably still buy it...love me some Guitar Hero.

Well it depends...it plugs into the Wiimote right? Cause I figured they could cut the cost on motion sensing since the Wiimote already has accelerometers...I thought accelerometers in Guitar Hero guitars tacked on about $10...

WOW well you look at that...A brand new game headed straight to a brand new begining for the Wii....A low development cost on Activison part and a nice price tag for consumers..Well worth the $90....Still undecided on which next gen system to get though...O_O

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think 90$ is the cost of the bundle which includes the game and the guitar. I have also checked it out at EBgames and their website tells me that it will be 90$ and the picture they have up there has a game and a guitar.

I'm guessing the price is jacked up a bit because of the wireless controllers. At first I thought the Wii version was going to only be $80. Hey the PS3/Xbox360 versions will be $100. The fact that the controllers are wireless doesn't justify the increase in my mind, but hey, that's how the cookie crumbles.
