my preferance goes to nintendo gamecube controller, it has the best button configuration, and the best architecture for the hand

N64 controller for sure, just because it looked sexy

The Playstation controller is the best ever. The whole configuration when it didn't have analog sticks just made my gaming experience better.

Still to this day, its my favorite controller!

As far as traditional controllers go, the 360 controller. It just fits so perfectly into my hand, and it's very comfortable. Buttons are well-placed, and have a satisfying weight to them. Only black mark is the D-pad, but I don't play many D-pad-heavy games.

Hmmm, most comfortable for me is the Gamecube one. Can't beat that. Then again, I really like the Wii remote + Nunchuk combo, they're also really comfy, especially because they're separate and you're not forced to keep your hands together.

Before the analogue sticks the PS controller was basically just a SNES controller with handles.

I wouldn't know how a SNES controller feels, because I never grew up with a SNES. I only grew up with the Sega Genesis and Playstation.

umm... I don't really see how that is much different from the SNES controller... I mean, the PS controller was modeled off of the SNES controller. Do  you just like the handles?
