As far as Mario RPGs go:

Super Mario RPG (ingenious game) > Paper Mario > Thousand Year Door > Super Paper Mario > Mario and Luigi: Partners and Crime > Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

All of those are amazing games though. The lowest score I would give any of them is an 8.5 for Superstar Saga. The Mario RPG games have all been surprisingly awesome.

Partners in Time.

Thousand Year Door is much more polished than the first Paper Mario game, but anyway, that's my opinion. I agree to put the Alphadream games on the last two spots. SPM not out in europe yet, Super Mario RPG never came out in europe due to Nintendo and Squaresoft breaking up at that time. I have played it for a few hours on an emu, but I generally can't really enjoy playing games on a PC. Not beaten the game, no final judgement on its quality.

lol bad typo.

Anyway, yeah it's more polilshed but I enjoyed the original more for some reason.  Maybe it's because TTYD didn't really change much from the original so it felt like the same game.  I completely agree about playing games on a PC.  Emulators really just don't cut it.  It's got to be on a TV with a controller.

Isn't that what PS2-USB Adapters and Tv-out is for? ;)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

DAMN! I don't have time to play every game that I want :(. Especially the oldies and goodies :'(. Paper Mario is one of them, it is on the line :D

BTW, I loved SPM. Just hated the DAMN LONG CONVERSATIONS! They could have an option to skip trash-talking, it would be a lot better!

^Click on cards to level'em up!!!^ =D

The original paper mario was the best one, better story at the least, I have paper mario1 and 2 right now.

Yeah, he's tough. I had to fight the 3 Anti-guys in Chapter 8, and I thought it was EASIER than the 1 Anti-guy of Chapter 4. O_o

IMO:

PM>>>TTYD>>>>>>SPM

still <3 SPM though!

Everybody always says Partners in Crime haha.

And I don't know...I think the first Mario and Luigi was more original...even if the DS game was more complex...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I could not finish Super Paper Mario... it was too slow and incredibly boring. The humor would have been a lot better if it was spoken and emphasis and things could have been done to it... all of that text .

Expecting voice overs from Nintendo is asking for much.

Isn't Metroid Prime 3 the first big Nintendo game with full voice overs?

Starfox 64.

Hey einstein! I'm on your side!

I haven't played any of the paper mario games though I own all of them :(

Loved Super Paper Mario except for Bleck's Castle which sort of bored me. I will have to check out the VC one but there is no way I would go with one of the game cube one as it would required I have an old controller.
