And to answer your question, no, Zelda Wii will sell butter than Fable II by a huge margarine.

I believe that no matter what Nintendo tries to do to stop it, Zelda Wii will be the most hyped game this generation. All eyes are on the Wii due to its success and with the combination of a franchise like Zelda and the console at a later point in its life than it was for Galaxy, unless Nintendo only anounces a week before launch, the hype will be huge.

My predictions regarding this hype? It will live up to most expectations for sales and be the biggest opening for any Wii game and the highest selling Zelda to date. It will not move significant hardware (but few will expect it to.) It will get great reviews but still not live up to many gamers' hype for gameplay (see GTA4)

I love playing both Zelda and Fable.
Fable II is basicly nothing more than Fable I with better graphics.
I was actually quite disappointed with Fable II because it quite frankly did not live up to all the hype.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love for Fable to be the BIG RPG, but it's got a LONG way to go yet.
We need more western style RPGs.

I believe ONLY looking in retrospect to end up explaining how some franchise took over for another one.  Doesn't seem to happen in anticipation.

One example of the passing of the torch to a "_____ killer" would be what Unreal Tournament did to Quake.  Quake was THE name in FPS tournament play.  Epic releases Unreal Tournament, and outdoes iD and their Quake series.  Unreal Tournament was a Quake Killer.  Unreal Tournament is now the name in tournament FPS games.

One can also argue that World of Warcraft is a Everquest killer, the way Everquest was an Ultima Online killer.  Now when people think massive multiplayer online RPG, World of Warcraft is considered THE top name in that area.

It is human nature to want to be the firstest with the mostest in regards to information, but it seems dubbing something a ____ killer before it did its job, is absurd.
