whatever, yushire. Nobody cares. If somebody wants a FPS on wii, I recommend Metroid. How often to people ask "what's a good FPA for wii?"

Because most of the time you deal with exploration, the OP wants to shoot stuff not solving puzzles and shoot doors...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

From what I've heard, COD:WaW is a great game, but it just lacks splitscreen multiplayer. You can position the sensor bar either on top or on the bottom of the TV, and change it's location settings in the settings menu for the Wii. You can also change the sensitivity for the sensor bar, which makes it better for certain distances (like being farther or closer to the TV).

The Conduit should be great when it comes
out, so I'd keep an eye on that.

I can't believe it. I never knew that. I always just thought the lack of distance was just one of the weaknesses of the Wii sensor bar. I rearrange all my furniture anytime i want to play on the Wii. And worst of all i am not even being sarcastic. I have always wondered why no-one ever complained about this, and just figured my living room was bizarrely large. I am such a twit.

I have now just readjusted my settings and am truly a little bit happier with my Wii than i was this morning. Thanks wfz.

I actually recommend Red Steel, even while knowing it sucks. It's super cheap now, but if it's still not cheap enough, rent it. You can beat it in a day or 2 depending on your schedule. It's hilariously bad, but I liked it 'cuz it reminds me of a lot of my favorite so-bad-it's-good 80s action movies.

Wii has tons of shooters that are on-rails arcade style with great co-op, like House of the Dead, RE: Umbrella Chronicles, and Ghost Squad, or the Nerf one, if you're into the rails.

If you want a mysterious sci-fi shooter/adventure/puzzler quest type of game, get Metroid.

If you want an online fragfest, get Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

nah im not the metroid fan, just a regular shoot em up would be fine for me. Prolly would get red steel, more likely i'll find it for less than 20 since its an old game

thank you for the correct spelling of your title~

OT: awesome wii ftw! id recommend no more heroes for you, for her dunno... :o

Out of nowhere, my step father hands my sister a brand new wii, with the Wii play that comes with another wii mote. hours later, i set it up for her and play a few games, you know just to keep her company (shes only nine). Just wondering, is there a better location to put that sensor bar other than on top of the tv, so you dont have to be super away from it, thats the only problem. And, is CoDWAW turned out good for the wii? Never really trusted an FPS game on the Wii, but it might just be me. For now, i'll let my sis fiddle around with the mii channel and i'll go back to playing PS3, thats just me.

If you want an awesome shooter for the Wii, get Metroid Prime 3.

I don't know if it is just me or not, but I find the sensor works better when it sits below the tv, and offocurse you have to have that option selecte din the settings too, otherwise the sensing is so bad haha.
