i never played either game and i can only afford 1 of them right now what game should i get?

Bioshock!

bioshock its a great game, also if u get bioshock . here is a tip, save the little sister's during your 1st playthrough.

If you like a story driven game, that has a strong focus in FPS with RPG touches, go for bioshock, it's an awesome game

If you're more into horror games, then definetly buy Dead Space, it's one of the best games i've played this year :)

Dead Space, my favourite game this year.

I haven't played Dead Space, but Bioshock is one of my favorites of this generation. You really can't go wrong with it. Unless of course you end up not liking Bioshock, and then you will have gone wrong with it.

For X360 or PS3?

You can find used copies of bioshock (for the 360)

Buy that first... next month look for a used copy of Deadspace.

Maybe you'll get lucky and play both for under $80...
