Forums - Gaming Discussion - Recommend me my new gaming purchase (Choices inside)

Well I bargain shop for games, so that's why I have so many unfinished. I wouldn't have purchased my newest three had Gamestop not had a sale going on. Sometimes it's better to buy before you need it if it'll save you some serious cash. Others I just buy on day one because I have the urge that I need to play them immediately. It causes the conflict. Luckily Spring is looking rather empty outside of maybe five games, so it'll be good time to play catchup no matter the route I go. I only have Wii Sports Resort, MadWorld, Street Fighter IV, Res Evil 5 and Killzone 2(if I go for a PS3) to get.

Well, at the heart of it is this:

You will never be able to play all the 360 and Wii games you would like. Purchasing them just makes the most sense. I always go for the option with the most games, myself.

lol...get the games man or the PC upgrade. There aren't many experiences on ps3 you can't get from 360. Get a few games, some PC upgrade parts and 100 dollar bluray disk drive for your PC and youre set.

try to find the msg4 pack somewhere,

you get a ps3 that can play ps2 titles, and msg4 ;)

If he doesn't have a PS2, then I highly suggest simply buying a PS2, and skipping the PS3 alltogether. It's a crime not to own a PS2.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Scratch what I said earlier. Do this instead.

1) Buy Lottery tickets with extra money.
2) Win Lottery.
3) Do all three choices, and then some.
4) Give some of the winnings to Izaaz.

This is a fantastic, fail-proof plan. I'd do it myself, but I don't have any extra money at this time (damn you tuition fees!).

Get it emulated on the PC after buying the upgrade. Im playing resident evil 4 using PCSX2 as we speak...or write...

^ I looked at the compatibility list and it's spotty to say the least. There are tons of great ps2 games that currently don't work.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

Well i'd go PC/Steam...

Mostly because of the Steam holiday sale!

All and all tough choices though.

I'd either go with the tripple or the pc upgrade. Depends if you really feel like you need a new graphics card. If not, i'd deffo pick the ps3 :p

Check out my game about moles ^

Save your money until you beat those games!

~Currently Playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank: FTOD, and Resistance: Retribution~
