a full game stood up sounds a bit much, maybe they could make it so you can place it in front of the chair, so you only need to stand when battling.

i have been wondering how sensitive the board is though, and wondered if it could ever be used as pedals for a racing game... i mean it is clearly split down the middle for each foot, and each pad must sense when you press more at one side than the other... obviously it wouldnt have give like pedals do, but pressure is better than a simple button.... if nintendo incorporated stands at the front [so it can be angled like pedals] then that would be pretty cool.

I think it would be great for racing games. It would have great sensitivity, and could work for three pedals (if there is room for feet).

I have always wanted to see a game with a clutch pedal - for real "manual" car control. Build a single rig that includes all these:

 - 1x Wiimote: gear stick

 - 1x steering wheel (Mario Kart style)

 - 1xWiiFit board : pedals

It might be bulky, but it would be pretty cheap (under $50?), and would be as close to a driving setup in the arcades as most people would ever get in their homes.

i did think of a clutch when typing that ^. but i dont think the board would be able to register a third position for a pedal, its not like a touch-screen, more like two sets of scales side by side, both of which measure weight probably in four corners so it can tell if you put more weight on one side.
although maybe [if you were sat down with the board proped up at your feet] pressing the top end of each side acts as brake/accelerator, and then pressing the bottom end acts as a clutch.

as for a wiimote gear lever, sounds great but how would that work? i mean you would have to hold the remote all the time cos it cant stand like a real gearstick

All the ideas sound cool... Btw, it coul be possible to make a game where the main character must ride a snowboard or something like that... I know it's stupid, but it's cool)
