Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Help buying a XBOX360

Hi, i already have a wii and a ps3, and now i'm about to buy a xbox360, i don't know which bundle should i buy so i was hoping you guys could give me a little help.
Here were i live, in portugal, we have a pro 60 gb bundle with gears2 for 280 euros or the elite 120 gb bundle with kung fu panda and lego indy for 300 euro. Should i buy the elite and then gears 2 for the extra space and the black detail of the console or go for the gears 2 pro bundle?
Thanks in advance

If you can afford it then go straight to the elite. Not sure what 20 euros translates to but extra 60 gigs is well worth it.

i would get the gears 60 gig bundle...but thats just me.

Get the more expensive one, you get an extra game and more memory.

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Thanks for your input. 20 euros is about 30 dollars, and games here in portugal are very expensive, gears of war 2 is 70 euros, roughly, 95 dollars. Also what games do you think i should buy? I'm going for lost odissey, blue dragon and infinite undiscovery (RPG and JRPG lover) and halo 3, which i can get them for half the price, but besides those, which should i get?

Gears 2 is a great game, so unless you just need the extra hard drive space, or you have youngsters I would go with that package.

I have an elite 360 and to be honest until recently ( hard drive installs of games) the extra hard drive space was useless. Just depends on your personal gaming preference I guess.

We'll i kinda liked the extra space on the ps3, so i think the elite is a good choice given all of your inputs. Also, i've heard that the hard drive installs actually benefits your games and silences the noise that the console used to make right?

The 60gb bundle and buy gears 2 as well, forget the elite, not worth the extra 100 dollars imo.

This!

if your not gonna download media then the 60 GB should be fine. The extra game is better value. im not a huge fan of kung fu or indy but thats just my opinion.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
