Hehe, I've had the game since launch too, but only played this past weekend because I was waiting for a friend or family member to get it too, so we could play together!  I've been trying to get everyone to buy this game.  I don't like playing with strangers online on games that are co-op or small team based games.  I only play multiplayer deathmatch games with the general online populace, like Halo 3 or CoD 4.

I got this game as a gift and played only 1 campaign because single player was horrible. I don't play online, so I didn't care for it (vowed never to play online againafter WOW and FF XI). I like to go outside. :)

Valve will make a sequel though. Count on it.

Well, if you ever want to play, I wouldn't mind jumping on L4D... I'm always looking for more L4D players because there's just not as many as games like COD4.

I wouldn't.  Valve doesn't just do sequels unless there's a good reason, and their plan with Source engine games is to keep updating them, until they're simply obsolete and need a sequel, like CS to CS:S.  The days of multiplayer game sequels should be over...since all they need is balance updates and content.

Given the amount of time between Valve's flagship Half-Life 1 and 2, I wouldn't expect the sequel to be out in this generation (if in fact the NextBoX comes out in 3 years or so). So in my opinion yeah a new one will come out with improvements and updates, and no, not anytime soon.
