I'm going to be buying a DS tomorrow and i would like to know what games i should pick up for it,  i'm not into the pokemon and metroid games, and nothing gay either.  Other then that i'm all ears to what games i should buy, maybe a couple short games where i don't really have to think, and one or two long games. Thx for the help guys.

Get Elite Beat Agents.

A good game is Age of Empires: The Age of Kings. Very fun, but the campaigns can get difficult.

Also good is Mario Hoops 3 on 3. The gameplay gets some getting used to, but graphics are amazing and there is lots of character variety.

Avoid Nintendogs. For the love of God, don't buy Nintendogs.

So far I only have Project Rub (Feel the magic over in the USA) because all my other games havent arrived yet -.-

I cant really compare to other games but If you find this game in a bargain bin somewhere you might as well pick it up, for a minigame collection it really holds together quite well and it certainly has a fair bit of replayability in it. Dont pick it up full price though, it almost certainly wont compare well to other full price games.

If you want long games the best you are gonna find is advance wars ds, age of empires is also a good choice.

And for games you can play for 20 minutes or less probably the best choices are: NSMB, tetris ds, Elite BA or the castlevanias.

I recommend Advance Wars as well.

Other games? Mario Kart is always fun, as are any of the Final Fantasy remakes if you haven't played them yet. I heard great things about EliteBeatAgents too, excellent rhythm game, maybe buy it used. (not trying to plug anything here, but half.com is a really good site to buy used handheld games online, usually ~$10 unless the game is really popular, like Advance Wars)

If your in America, wait for the red onyx ds bundle. It is a must buy.

I was gonna recommend "Homosexual Starfighter" but you seem opposed to that idea...

I also recommend Elite Beat Agents and Advance Wars Dual Strike. Two of the best games for the ds so far. Haven't played Mario Kart but I'm sure that's good also.

I know you said nothing gay....but the game SUPER GO GO GAY HUNTING GAYNESS FOR GAY PEOPLE GAY YEAH DS RICHARD SIMMONS EDITION AKA GAYEST EDITION is a must have. The gameplay is super gay, but it's some of the best strategic gameplay eva. For short you can just look up Dick Simmons DS or DSds.
