Really? I've never seen a Wii sell on e-bay for more than 375$ and usually when that happens there are accessories involved as well. (never as in the recent past) I just wanna point out that there are double the number of Wii's listed on e-bay than there were last week.

Some good games coming out after a bare Jan and start of Feb, the VC quickly becoming a selling point, and of course Jan and Feb SHOULD be the times of lowest demand, all other things being equal, because everyone just spent all their money (and more) at Xmas. But then again, Wii supply could be improving too.
Wii supply is going up. I dont feel the virtual console 'games' that are comming are very imporant, because it's kind hard to find the game lists for VC.

The DS is an instructive case: Nintendo has been ramping up production continually since day-one but still aren't quite meeting demand. Nintendo *could* throw money at the problem and ramp up production more quickly but less efficiently and sacrificing some quality, but that doesn't seem very Nintendo.

If the wii is becoming more available, then maybe nintendo finally learned from sony and got their supply chain running smoothly.

I really don't trust itrackr yet. I've called some of the stores that supposedly have Wiis and they told me they were sold out. So it's hard to say how accurate it is.

No it's not. You can find it online at any of a number of sites.

So you say The Wii is for people who dont use the internet heavily etc etc. Yet, now your saying to search the web and do tons and tons of research to find what games are comming to the VC? Make you your nintendo minds. Either A. The nitendo appeals to online people, or it dont. Pick ONE. Dont just keep flip-flopping saying. "But you can find this here." I know where to find the lists. I just asked my wife. She says she has no idea where to find the virtual console game lists. She said "off the Wii? Idunno." Look if you post here. Chances are you would know stuff like that. Duh. My wife is a techie, and she is the one who wanted the Wii the most. And she dont know where to find the upcomming release lists. So hate to say it guys. But obviously what is coming is NOT that well known. My wife said. "No, I sure as f*** dont know." when I asked her what games are comming in the next 2 weeks. So Gotta hand it to you. Everyone knows what is coming on the VC. Hate to say it, but flow has gotten more publicity than any VC game.

Has Nintendo released any numbers on VC sales? It's not something I jumped into right away, but now that I have and realize how well it works I can't wait for my favourite games to come out so I can buy them again (sounds like such a sucker move when you actually say it ) Kwaad: A lot of casual gamers I know are well aware that the Wii supports old NES/SNES/Genesis/N64 games, and that's a selling point for a lot of people.

I was actually mad at nintendo. I was expecting at least 100 nintendo games on there. Nintendo is doing a horrible job I feel with the VC. Sega is the only one spewing out VC games like it should be done. And the funny thing is. There weren't many Sega games compared to NES, SNES, N64. But i still gotta say it. It's not as easy to find the lists as it should be if they want 'casual' people finding the lists with ease. When the PS3 gets support for playing PS1 games. Hell is gonna break out between the Sony boys and the Nintendo boys. Becuase there are more PS1 games I would like to buy/play than NES/SNES/N64. And the funniest thing is. I can play those PS1 games on my PSP... AND PS3. (that is if sony does that. Wich I dont see why they wouldnt)
