Not too sure, i guess it would all depend on when the information is received by the mod's and also how long it takes to confirm...

The mods don't receive this information, they take it from Famitsu site where anyone with some Japanese knowledge can view it once it's posted.

According to that site, WKC supposedly sold around 100,000 day 1, off to a good start, high sell through at some stores and a few sell outs (though restocks are expected by the weekend).
sony only shipped 100.000 ? no way .
