Regarding the release dates... yeah that certainly sucks a big fat monkey ball...

BUT it seems to me, the games that were previously started in development and then converted to Wii, Super Paper Mario is the main example seem to have the longer PAL delays, while the games that have been created for Wii from scratch generally seem to be launched fairly closely to each other around the world... I would expect the PAL launches during 2008 to follow more closely.

Although, that doesn't really explain Brawl which is going to kill me because we're gonna need to wait for the PAL code because of online play with that game if it's region locked like Strikers... that there REALLLLLLY sucks!

I know the price increase is industry wide. Newsflash, Nintendo is part of the industry! They could easily lower the price of the games, but they don't because they would prefer gouge their customers. Don't worry, MS doesn't get off lightly either. Sony made the PS3 region free so I'm just hoping more people import games so they drop their price.

I'm sorry there's no excuse for Nintendo's practises here. "But everybody else does it" is no excuse. If I want to mod my console I bloody well will (it's perfectly legal). Maybe if they stopped ripping off their customers we'd be less inclned to import.

People who don't want to wait until SEPTEMBER for Super Paper Mario when the rest of the world has had it for 4 months already

I know region locks suck hard. But the modchips out, dont make the wii play imports or have limit number of games that are compatiable to play as imports. Modchips are a cancer on the gaming industry. If like games with high production value, then stay away from modchips, They are just for jews who too tight to pay for a game. If its not worth buying it probaly not worth playing.
