dam good luck buddy.

As far as know the 3.0 update only blocks the updating of the modchip(These modchips updates bring some stuff like emulating, possible homebrew, etc) and some fans were pissed because this blocking troubles the possible realease of a Free Loader. But I think there is a new application that solves the problem of the block.

PS Vita and PC gamer

CPU Intel i5 2500K at 4.5 Ghz / Gigabyte Z68 Mobo / 8 Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600 mhz / Sapphire HD 7970 Dual X Boost / Corsair Obsidian 550d

What brick the Wii is updating it using a game. Example: modded USA Wii is updated using a PAL or japanese Super Paper Mario. It is dead forever. So avoid modchips.

Who mods their consoles? And why? You reap what you sow.

People who don't want to wait until SEPTEMBER for Super Paper Mario when the rest of the world has had it for 4 months already

People who don't want to pay DOUBLE the price for their games for no reason.

I'm sick of this bullshit argument. If Nintendo didn't treat their European/Australian customers like shit, then people would be less inclined to want to import games. They completely bring it on themselves.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

umm.. my friend's old Xbox one had it's case replaced with one that had a ton of blue LEDs all around it that shown through the clear casing. Wii mods he has a red light instead of blue that dance to the beat of music. Quite a nice little mod really.

Dude price is industry wide, if not WORSE on PS3 and 360 so that's not an argument against Nintendo.

Regarding the release dates... yeah that certainly sucks a big fat monkey ball...

BUT it seems to me, the games that were previously started in development and then converted to Wii, Super Paper Mario is the main example seem to have the longer PAL delays, while the games that have been created for Wii from scratch generally seem to be launched fairly closely to each other around the world... I would expect the PAL launches during 2008 to follow more closely.

Although, that doesn't really explain Brawl which is going to kill me because we're gonna need to wait for the PAL code because of online play with that game if it's region locked like Strikers... that there REALLLLLLY sucks!!

Different types of modding, this topic is about mod chips.

Oh and as Omg said, they rip people in certain areas off, you cant blame the people for modding their consoles to play certain games. TBH though, you might as well just import an american console if your going to import all your games.
