Just another curious question...I always come up with these odd questions but I was thinking for the past couple of days about this...I do buy games base on popularity sometimes but not always...what about you guys?
same here, if i see a popular game on tv, hear about it etc, i usually look it up on the web see how it did and what its like. If i like it i go and rent or buy it.
Most of the time though i buy games i like, and thankfully most the time games i like are popular

Sometimes I will give a game a second look because of popularity instead of dismissing it immediately. I never rely on popularity alone.
Not usually. I buy one becuase it looks like fun.
pretty much the same as the other.. except for a game that rely a lot on online.. if it's not popular I won't buy and just rent it....
Of course I buy games based on popularity since I rely on friends to tell me what they think of games that I don't know much about before I buy them.
