Who the hell are G-unit?

You are either living under a very large and soundproof rock in America, or my sarcasm detector needs to go to the shop for repairs.

sorry dude, he's probably not into mainstream...and neither am I.  I think it stand for Gorilla Unit...I think(I saw a kid wearing a shirt that said that)...I'm not sure. I don't listen to rap.

I just meant that they have a lot of celebrity status in America. I don't really follow Paris Hilton, and haven't watched much of whatever she does outside of this really cool film she made in the dark, but I know who she is. As far as music goes, I've never heard a Garth Brooks song in my life and I couldn't name one for you, plus I dislike country music, but he's famous to the point that I know he exists and he's a big deal country singer.

I havent' heard mainstream or hot 100 since...2005-ish...back when I heard a really stupid song about a candy...Laffy Taffy...I think. and about Paris Hilton. jeez, I wonder who's the poor guy who got blown just so she could get a record deal.  I like Country Music...except some of the newer stuff like taylor swift...and...Jessica Simpson...ugh. I hate rap/hip-hop with a vengeance

I've got a pair of jeans that have G-unit written on the left butt cheek. Now I know what it means.

gggggget in the car unit not real gamers, i mean wii fans

well duh. they're stupid ganstar poseurs. not gamers.

Metalcore, Hardcore, Punk, Emo, Rock.

G-unit keeping it real as usual. I have a Wii and can honestly say it isn't very appealing to me. The flicking the controller was fun for about a week and then it got old real quick. I wish I would have got a 360 or PS3 instead. I just pray to god Microsoft and Sony don't follow and make this the future of gaming.

Can't wait for that 50 cent game either. I heard it was great.

Rap, R&B>>>all.

Yeah I just can't get down with country music. This is going to sound absolutely cliche but I can only stand to listen to Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Both are fantastic artists though.

Well, a lot of people don't like the sound of emos screaming about how angsty and depressed they are...

I was interested in the Wii with G-Spot related post :(

I don't have anything against other genres myself. Although there is some I rearely listen to, I do think every genre requires some talent.

I can understand where you're coming from, however, what do you mean by real music?  Are you referring to the music itself or  how artists themselves have to potray a certain image and sing/rap about certain subject matters once signed to major labels?
