i was thinking about buying a ds lite with the following games:

Mario kart ds

legend of zelda

brain training

and either pokemon pearl/final fantasy 12 revenant wings

The ds lite is currently 95 pounds in england and when launched in japan it was 16,800 yen. However i was looking at may be waiting for a dsi to come out but i have read on wikipedia that it is 18,900 yen - a sizeable  increase. Would anyone guestimate how much this dsi could cost when it comes out in the uk next spring? Because even though the original cost 15000 yen and the lite 16800, when in the uk i think the rrp of both was 99.99.

Anyone gestimate?

Either Nintendo will drop the price of DSLite and introduce DSi @ £99 or it will do something stupid like launching it at £130 (I personally doubt it would sell at all at that price). It all depends on other things too. My guesstimate would be to wait and see.

I agree with Nintendoman. Dslite will drop in price and Dsi will sell at £100

I get feel that Wii unit is getting slow, unless Nintendo could bring something surprise games.

Nintendo will charge whatever the market is willing to pay while maximising profit on hardware and hardware/software combined.

They haven't made a mistake ever since the DS launch in that regard.

Nobody would buy a ds for $300 and Nintendo knows that.
