Shouldn't have to do one of those Twes. You need to look on the map and find people that give you quests. The ones you mention will get done at some point, but they are not necessary to progress through the game. Don't worry, when I first saw it I made the same assumption you did.

I've talked to everyone I've seen and I've walked all over this map.  I gave the one girl some flowers and that didn't do anything for me but let me try some more ramen.  Other than that, I've found some shop keepers but nothing else that gives me missions or experience.  I keep an eye out on my mini map but haven't found anything.

I have not played this game so this is a blind shot in the dark but I refuse to believe that the gamei s supposed to be played as you are playing it.

Can you pull up a larger map?

You're definintely missing something.  Or something has gone severely wrong with your game.

I *finally* found konamaru (however you spell his name) though not sure if he appeared before or after I did the first not-free story mission...

Other than that though, I'm still not finding other missions.  Now that I know how to bring up the full map I see 3 maybe quest markers (would have been nice if they told me how to bring up the map earlier) so I'll check those out.

-edit-

Nope, those are just vendors -_-

I'm honestly not sure how to help you man. There should be quests you have to do, are there any quests in the list other than the optional ones? Should be able to cycle through a few lists, and there should be something you can do already.

...

Wow that sucks. Maybe I won't buy that game.

lies.

I think you're doing it wrong.

These are the missions I have available
Story Missions

  • The Ninja Handbook Begins (completed)
  • Survival Exercise (completed)
  • Learn Teamwork (completed)
  • Master How to Move

S Rank

  • High Hopes for New Ramen (I've tried like 5 of them)
  • Hidden Wares

C Rank

  • Walk the Eternal Road 2 (12000 steps)
  • Footprints in the Sand 2 (6 hours)

D Rank

  • Walk the Eternal Road 1 (completed)
  • Footprints in the Earth 1 (completed)
  • Break the Targets 1
  • Hide-and-seek with Konohamaru (completed all 3 stars)

Luckily now I at least have enough exp from the Konohamaru to complete the next few story missions ones.

And this has nothing to do with the PS3 other than I happen to be playing it on the PS3

Your doing something wrong because those 3 missions should get completed as you progress thru the game.  I never had to really try and get those.  You can do battle missions again if they have 3 stars with bonus experience if you complete the bonus conditions.  I dunno man something clearly went wrong.

Sounds like you broke the game. Try starting again from the beginning? Maybe on a 2nd save?
