Now to start off, YES i do NOT own MGS4 yet so dun bash me for not owning this game yet im poor lets leave it @ that.

All right ahhh, first off i didnt care much for the MGS4 demo itself but thats because i guess im not sure where the story is @ right now, BUT thankfully the newst MGO Demo they just added to the PSN...Wow.... Mind blowing, its the first 3rd person / 1st person mixed style game with lots of "thinking" and strategy.

Basicly speaking it was awesome and i love randomly knocking people out while rolling in a barrol or cardboard box then friskying them and take there "gear" so much awesome-pop in there.

The graphics look INSANE on an HDTV (My dads lol) i thought it was just an "Okay-Ish" game graphicly but wow never would have thought Kojima's gang were good in this area of gaming well done.

Online play for MGO is easy without a doubt the smoothest online gaming experience i've ever had be it on PC, PS3, PSP, 360, and so forth. it was incredible, there was the very rare drop in frame-rate every now & then but it only happened when noobs went all fucking insane with Nades or rockect launchers. abd even then it was still very minimal.

Custom Characters were sweet to, although im sure in the full game its much better, but from what they offer you in MGO Demo it looks like it has its own community already! something games like UT3, Haze, Lost Planet & Toruk seem to lack greatly as FULL GAMES, insane!

Overall just wanted to get my opinion out there because i didnt think the Metal Gear Series would be my kinda thing, guess i was wrong it was unique and fun to boot.

• ~Graphics~ 9/10 - Very awesome on an HDTV one of the best i've seen and i apoligies for under-estimateing it.
• ~Story~ ??/10 - I Cannt commet on this from a personal perspective at the moment.
• ~Controls~ 8/10 - Very weird to me but once master i can only assume it will be a breeze to use, well put together and smooth scrooling and switching.
• ~Battle System~ 10/10 - I was uniquely surprised here, its not just some shoot'um up game like UT3 or the like, you have to think on your moves really awesome and un-expected.
• ~Sound~ 10/10 - AWESOME sound effects great voice acting (I heared Crispen Freeman in there LMAO!!!) and good music to keep ya on your toes aswell as the hype.
• ~Lasting Appeal~ 9.5/10 - For a demo? i can see myself playing this more then UT3 and Lost Planet combined sad...Is it just me or does my choice in online multi-player games really, really bad?
• ~Overall~ 9/10 - This Demo for Metal Gear Online Sealed the deal for me, i was planning on getiting MGS4 soonner or later, but now its leanning towards the soonner. again well done Kojima very impressed and im mainly a JRPG and Fighting game kinda guy incredible.

Do not base MGO on MGS4 at all, or even the mgs4 demo, MGS4 is miles ahead of both those demos...you must buy it!! its $49.99 in best buy

the only pain with MGO is the whole konami's sign in deal.

but yeah - MGS4>>>>>>MGO in a lot of ways, and you liked this demo of it, so imagine what you'd think about the full game!
I highly suggest picking up the full game and the MGS database PSN download for some of the backstory goodness. It clarifies a lot of the story contradictions from the previous games too apparently, but I've never played any of them except for a few hours on the first one on PS1.

10/10 sound?

I found the death sounds so annoying that I turned down my speaker volume. They drive me crazy.

I might give MGO another try later - I got bored of it pretty fast, but that's probably because I had the worst lag you could possibly imagine. Since I couldn't get any kills, I decided to practice CQC on teammates, but they didn't seem to like that very much.....I ended up gettin kicked a few times.

You don't have MGS4 either?

STOP BUYING SHOVELWARE LIKE LOST PLANET AND GO BUY SOME REAL GAMES!

Get Uncharted and MGS4 before you get LBP. Now I'm going to run away before MM gets here.
