I was sure I had forgot about something...

Blue dragon did not flop in japan, with such a small userbase it couldnt do that well.

I have bioshock and blue dragon the top of my list btw

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Sorry I'm just curious too know a good reason to avoid Blue Dragon like the Black Death. The Demo was actually fun to play, so where's the problem ?

Apologies for only quoting the bottom 2 scores from metacritic so far, but I do trust EGM (who has 3 people review each game).

The game sabotages things right from the start by sticking you with four of the most vapid, unlikable protagonists I've seen in my 20 years as an RPG fan. [Sept 2007, p.94]

Without characters to care for or a story compelling enough, only the most dedicated genre faithful will make it through Blue Dragon’s three discs. [Sept 2007, p.88]

You also have a few sites giving it very high ratings, and the fam magizine gave it a 37/40.

That and how can they give it a accurate rating even though its not even out

My list by priority for this month:

1. Bioshock
2. Metroid Prime 3
3. Warhawk
4. Monster Hunter Freedom 2
5. Blue Dragon
6. Jeanne D'Arc
7. Brave Story: New Traveler

This is the best gaming month this year so far and specifically the best PSP month in a long time.

I am regretting giving my PSP to a friend, now I have to wait after buying these games till September for the new PSP to hit so that I can get that.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Damn, I forgot it's in August now thanks.

That's 8 August games that I must have, woe is my wallet....

I think only Bioshock surpasses Persona 3 on my list for August.

Maybe having my 360 break on me was good so that I can have less games that I need to buy and play immediately :P

They get sent the game most of the time ahead of launch. The games usually sit in stores for awhile before going on sale. Guitar Hero apparently goes out before street dates, though.

Anyway, I'm just saying there is reason to be skeptical of Blue Dragon. I can see why it's hyped since it is the only decent RPG so far (Japanese-style) on the next-gen platforms. I'd hold out for Eternal Sonata or Lost Odyssey, personally (if just considering 360).

This month is a great month for PSP and another PS2 RPG, Persona 3.

The PSP is also getting Dungeons and Dragons Tactics that got a good score from PSM. I'm hoping it's good. It's out on the 14th.

Yes personally i think lost odyssey is going to be better, not necessarily because of gameplay but story and graphic wise
