Forums - Gaming Discussion - Hardware Reliability! (Time has elapsed!)

Good afternoon ladies, gentlemen and those who havn't quite decided yet.

Way way back in 2007, I had created a thread inviting Xbox 360 owners to state whether or not their console has had a fatal error (Not limited to RROD). They were taken at face value, but only for consoles they claimed to own, and given either a yes or no answer.

So yes, this is the return of the bullshit internet survey, but a lot of time has passed! Let's see how Microsoft's Hardware has held up. Answer the question below:

Since owning your XBox 360 (You personally, not your friend's, not your brother's, something YOU spent cash on or received as a gift for YOU), have you had a fatal error that has rendered the console unplayable?

Please don't be an anonymous internet douchebag and lie. It's easy, but it's retarded. Only answer if you want to, and only answer honestly for yourself. If you don't want to say your XBOX360 crashed, don't! If you don't want to say your Launch Xbox360 is working like a dream, don't! Absolutely your choice, but be honest.

As I myself do not own a 360, I cannot answer my own question. I also am off to a 2 day Christmas party, so will review this thread on Sunday. For all who participate, thanks, and for all have a happy holidays!

Around the Network

I bought my 360 May 30th 2008, I play it pretty hard usually getting 6 hour sessions on it. All my games are installed onto the HDD to reduce console stress. So far it has frozen on me twice but only after the NXE update.

How about you ask for YES/NO and date you bought it.

Sept 12, 2008 - No

Before I disappear for the day, right now we have 2 no, 0 yes.

You can provide whatever details you want to, and please, keep any discussion civil. Don't accuse people who had theirs failing as being retards who abuse their consoles (Unless their stories involves using it as a litterbox) and don't accuse people who have working ones as being in denial or extremely defensive.

Just an honest, curious question about how the hardware has acted, and how it is perceived now.
