Ok even sence the 360 price cut the 360 has been killing the PS3 in sales. So when is this going to change becuase most people still seem to think it will. I think it will eventuallly mabey? But when will that be i mean its not like right when its the new year the PS3 will all of the sudden start outselling the 360. So when will it happen the next PS3 price cut, KIllzone 2, when?

Killzone 2 will give a boost but games tends to never give a lasting boost. Pricecut will give them better sales then 360, at least until 360 cuts again......

Devil May cry 4 will turn it around in japan. They've just been waiting for a game targeted for them, and the others did pretty good there....wait....when am I?

I honestly dont think a price cut is going to save the machine. Why pay more for a consle when you can get the 360 for less and still get (most) of the same great games. Unless you like LBP and Lair, and the handfull of other Sony exclusives.

So no I dont think they will turn around.

when is the PS3 price cut expected?

When we least expect it, when even the most die-hard Sony fanboy has since hung up his gloves and resigned himself to losing thats when Sony will do their price cut.

 Edit: Its pretty similar to what happened with the Xbox 360, luckily I was a "die-hard with a vengeance" fanboy.

They would need it Q2 2009 if the sales is not shaping up, but the smartest move is to do what Microsoft have done and slash it hard in late September so the effect will roll over the holidays.
