Yep when FF XIII is released japan sales will probably go up to 100k weekly for the ps3 O_o

So, its going to likely pass 360 next year around mid or late year.

OHH yea and i forgot GT-5!!!!!!!!!!! how could i forget that one forgive me GT fans!! lol i would say PS3 takes the lead from 360 end of 08 and from wii by early 2010....remeber 10year life span by 2010 ps3 and wii will be alot loser in cost............

'09 at the earliest if at all.

The lead is too staggering now and the X360 isn't faltering any.

Even if the PS3 were to start selling 100k more per week than the X360, it would take 60 weeks. Considering the X360 may gain a bigger lead over this holiday, the time frame will take more than 60 weeks.

2008 will be a more telling time for the USA. But I do think that it will be at least second place in 2 out of 3 regions. If VGChartz is accurate, the PS3 is selling at 2:1 in the PAL regions to the 360 with not nearly the number of games and alot more expensive.

Right now, it's looking to be the same for 360 as the Xbox. The Good Ol' US of A is going to be 2/3 (66.6%) of it's entire market. Maybe, more like 3/5 (60%) this time. There are a few more RPGs.

PS3 passes the 360 by the end of 08 worldwide is my prediction.

If it doesn't happen by then, then the months following the release of FF XIII.

By the time the PS3 stops selling it will be in first place for this generation, The PS3 will be out longer then the other two systems and will make huge increases in those last 2-3 years to pass any amount the wii sold. This will happen just wait and see.

I think PS3 has to pass 360 eventually. I mean it's practically playing 3 markets against 2. The Japanese sales will eventually come when the big JRPGs come out.

I'd put it 30% that 360 stays ahead. But i'm new to predicting this kind of stuff.

You have been hitting the beer a to much, some time in 08 360 will take its place at #3

360 has only one market, its not good in Europe. It costs half the price and has a bunch of racing games and it can out sale the PS3 at double the price and no games, theres niot way to spin it in a positive way for them. PS3 a hell of alot better 08 line up and more specifilcy Sonys 1st party stuff will dig 360s grave.

The PS3 won't pull past 360 until 2009 at the absolute earliest. The momentum just isn't there.

360 is heading down and nothing can stop that. As soon as mid 08 or late xmas 08 360 is in 3rd place.
