I'm sure the PS3 will become the number one selling console again with a price cut. After all the Wii can only sell as much as the Gamecube did right?

For now any way. But have you seen the 09 wii line up? It's only going to get better.

Don't worry, I'm sure once the Wii NA sales pass the 360's WW sales, we'll have a thread similar to this one as well.

You're numbers are wrong for both.
PS3 has 75 80% games, and 9 90% games.
Wii has 32 80% games, and 9 90% games.
And thanks I'll have fun from both the consoles.

@MontanaHatchet: It's unfair to say only Sony fans are incapable of spelling and using correct grammar. It comes from all sides, like those zombies in Uncharted.

If I am Sony and I see these numbers, someone in marketing and development is getting fired.
The PS3 isn't doing that bad it just needs to make up lost ground, get a price cut, and come up with a way to make holiday sales better.
Sony needs to shoot for beating Xbox360, come out with a system before the competition, and target a larger audience.
It may be a good idea to change their philosophy as well.

It could happen with a price cut, but there probably won't be one.

Sony said it planned to "reduce headcount" in its electronics business by 8,000 jobs by March 30, 2010. The cuts will be implemented worldwide, the company said, from a total workforce of 160,000, according to a Sept. 30 headcount."
If they have to start cutting jobs to save money, I highly doubt they will lower prices on products.
