So when the game first came out i grabbed a copy and did enjoy the game

however what i saw didnt really impress me much.

big time i mean you would go from nothing on the screen to hey textures on the wall...nice

the best example i can give you is the splicers

when you upgrade your speed you could reach a point where you could run up to one , bash 'em and then while they lie at your feet watch the cloths get all of the textures and the face  popin....real smooth like almost didnt notice i was only playing half the game at a time.......

BUT HERE IS TEH BOMB SHELL---the install to hard drive ....... BABABABABABABABAABAB BAAMMMMMMM

i have yet to see a pop in (knock on wood)....this is great and the game is now on my to die for list

Cool, I have the game, but still haven't played much of it. Good to know that installing it to HDD improves it.

Really you never had this still loading long after teh bad guy was dropped?

I'm just going to assume you're posting in the wrong thread...

I know I had an occasional texture pop but definitely didn't have anything as bad as other UE3 licensed games.

There are some small texture loading moments even when its installed to hard drive!

I had not played much of Bioshock when I first got it but I was liking it, got caught up with other games etc and recently came back to it. Started playing again and was hooked until completion!

Can't wait for Bioshock 2 now!
