@stokedup, i played the ff15 demo and for me the world was pretty empty which is expected since its a demo, but still. The battle system was way too much action/rpg vibe for my tastes. There was no-lock for you to use on your enemies, the camera had some issues keeping us with the action. The game didnt feel like a ff game, but more in common with star ocean instead, since the vibe is closer to that series. The only part i liked from the demo was the summon, now that was epic and is the only glimmer of hope i have in the game, i just might miss playing a ff game for the first time since ff12 came out, i hated that game with a passion.
Its just sad to see how final fantasy games have fallen to such a disgrace anymore, 2 of my top 3 all-time rpg's are from that series, being ff8 and ff10. I hope that at some point soon, the series can return to form but i dont think that is possible anymore , with the ppl in charge of the series or the company.

Yeah, I got the demo without getting type-0. I just wanted to see if it was going to be this "game changer" everyone said it was going to be. After playing the demo I think I'll just wait until my brother beats it and borrow his copy (if I ever get around to it).

I also wouldn't place FF anywhere in my top 5. They have made some AMAZING games, but do not beat the likes of Suikoden 2 and 3, Xenoblade, Xenogears, and Lunar The Silver Star. Heck, I'd put Tactics and Echoes Of Time above a lot of the main numbered series.

Yeah, I'm in love with it. I've played about 100 hours, and it has never bored me. For me, the best of Monster Hunter games is making a party with friends and go hunting together. If your friends don't have the game, don't worry, the online is great, you will always find people for almost any quest you want to do. More important, MH community is far from toxic. At first I was very bad at the game, but instead of bully me, people gave me advise to be a better hunter. Now I can defend myself and have some fun :)

@volterra_90, my friend code is in my sig if u wana play online sometime in monster hunter 4u.

I participated in a most exciting game event! To celebrate the global release, League of Angels - Fire Raiders hosted an Apple Watch competition and great in-game rewards will be given away to the participants who generate the most shares & likes from reposting a picture or video about LoA - Fire Raiders! The rules are pretty simple, click here to read more details:https://www.facebook.com/LeagueOfAngelsMobile

I think witcher 3 will redefine open world games and quests. If the press impression is correct then side quests wont be fletch quests. And overall fine tuning of witcher 2 will make it a benchmark in open world rpgs.

Rpg!!!(mostly jrpgs)
Been playing ff9 for like the 6th time again on my vita(last time i remember playing this is like 10years ago)

Also been playing suikoden 2 for the first time (dl ps3)

I Love the fast paced battle system and cant wait to play the war minigame.

But it does remind me of one ththing, how jrpg has fallen so low :(

Cool an RPG thread! Hmm let me think of relevant info....

Playing through FFIX and really enjoying it. It has a certain kind of charm that I haven't experienced before. It feels like a well written fairy tale and I am extremely hooked! Vivi and Steiner are my favorite characters. Also seems to be a lot easier than other jRPGs I've played, but then again I am not yet halfway through it (if they split up the story evenly amongst the discs, that is. I'm well into disc 2). Too bad I am extremely busy and cannot put much time into it. I will probably have to wait until another lengthy road trip to take another chunk out of it.

The Witcher 3! My meager budget pains me. I'll be working my butt off from May to September trying to save money for my next University year, so perhaps I will put a little account aside to save up for a PS4. The thing is I really want a Wii U as well . Back on topic, you know what they say; Skyrim was wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle (comparisons to Skyrim are inevitable; it is in my top 10 of all time). TW3 looks to be richer and deeper as well as more.... how do I say this..... vibrant? What I mean is that the towns appear to be more alive than Skyrim's, and the overworld appears to be rich in varied content, from what I've seen. I get the impression that the development team really banded together under one common vision. Maybe with a team of 230 employees at one HQ they were able to get a more united output, yet while still having enough creative variance to produce a rich game. In comparison, Skyrim was developed by a team of ~100, 8 of which created over 100 dungeons which frankly, did not differ that much from eachother. If the dungeon variance in TW3 is greater, and your actions in game actually make a difference to the world around you, I truly believe The Witcher 3 will surpass Skyrim for me.

#1 Amb-ass-ador

I've never played a witcher game but after reading some hands on of critics who have played 10 hours of it, I'm now massively interested in the game. There's apparently a little story at the start to reveal key story points that newbies wouldn't know about so there more up to date with what's going on. The world is supposed to be massive and also really vibrant and alive. It's not just dull open spaces to make the world bigger but it's all really well crafted. So I'll be really keeping my eye on it now.
