I never was interested in this game...I'm not a karaoke game person...I'm not a dancing game person...and I'm not a Pink, Fergie, Britney Spears, whatever game person.

I didn't expect this game to fail so badly, since I figured there was an audience for such a game...but apparently EA can still hold up its reputation for making crappy games with seemingly high production values.

Now watch it sell well...that would be horrifying.

I finally learned a bit more about this game. Never bothered before since I wasn't interested. Now I know that it will give me a great laugh. I just recently recommended a friend to get a Wii. He will not like this game, but I am sure his brother will love it. Now, instead of his brother singing in his room, he is going to do it in the living room. hahahhaha he is going to be so pissed...

Mario Nazi porn . . . I'd buy that game.

On another note, has everyone seen the EA ad video in the review the OP linked to? It's hilarious, mostly due to being in almost as bad taste as the above idea.

I think 1up is a bit too harsh, really but not Wii biased...

Except one looks great and is an action game and the other is a crappy looking casual game so I'll get the first.

About the whole 2nd person jumping into the game in Mario, it's pretty much a non factor in the reviews because it's an unnecessary add on and doesn't do much unless there is someone who wants to barely play the game as the 2nd player...

As I said I think Boogie will be worse than Lair. By a long shot probably.

Im just saying that in general I think reviewers are right and that Lair will also be a distinctly average game as so far it has got distinctly average reviews.

Also, I'm pretty sure the 2nd player option in Mario will be far from a non-factor...

It may not add much to actual gameplay, but the ability to allow a friend to help out will add significantly to the game's value.

Can't say I would feel sorry about that, game doesn't interest me one single bit. You can see it with Mario Party 8, no matter if scores are somewhat low.. game will sell anyway, especially on the WII.

hmm, maybe this will become a cult favorite. seriously, some people would really like it. it looks pretty over the top to me.

i mean, you just don't know until you've tried it... it's just a totally new kind of game! if you say "it doesn't interest me", that means you're being close-minded. saying "i'm not interested in buying it" is a different thing, however. looks like i'll have fun with this kind of game, but only when friends are over.

it looks like the fundamental difference between this and MP8 is that MP8 has a random component to level out the playing field that i absolutely hate.

$60 for something like this looks a little steep. i'd rather save the money for a nice DDR pad. probably worth a rental for laughs.
