Forums - Sales Discussion - Why did Brawl get so many votes in this weeks poll?

I looked at the results for the poll of the week and for some reason Brawl has so many votes. How could a game that comes out at the end of the year be the best selling game. It only has a few weeks to rackup sales. Even if it sells out every week (which it will) it still couldn't get enough sales. SSBB should not have even been an choice.

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.

Dna, as much as I'd love brawl to sell the most (actually galaxy for me), I'm from the Uk and even I know that Madden NFL 08 will trash it because americans love it and its multi-platform. I voted Madden myself.

500k on wii
500k on PS3

a few more k on Xbox and GC

one region is more then enough.

I Doubt Halo 3 in it's life time will do better than Brawl in it's life time. And who are you a Sony fanboy to call us nintendo fanboys. I like and have the Ps3 so I don't consider myself a nintendo only fanboy.

I don't think Brawl is going to outsell Halo 3 lifetime... but this is retarded lol.  This is like when you said Heavenly Sword was going to outsell Galaxy and Brawl combined a while back haha.

killzone you forgot xbox and GC, it still sells real well on xbox (1 million in 07) and on GC last year it was 350k i think. If you count all the versions, Madden is gonna outsell Halo.
