Hmm, I am not playing any shooters right now, with the exception of the very cool Left4Dead on occasion.  Otherwise I am keping busy with Prince of Persia, LittleBigPlanet, Valkyria Chronicles, and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix.  OMG, not shooters.

Sure Sure, the Wii get DQ which from what I undersand is very popular among the Japanese.

This is such a sad thread. 1million ps3's sold is terrible in comparison to the 360 and wii sales. And that's how a console war goes, everything is to be compared to the competitors sales. So im afraid that with all the blind fanboyism and Spin in the world 1million is still a terrible number.

And please stop with the pathetic PRICE PRICE PRICE excuse. The wii is the same price as it was last year yet its sales are up 60%. The ps3's price is the same yet the sales are DOWN. Hopefully that puts and end to that pitiful excuse.

yes PS3 is 400$ which is twico the price of xbox arcade
but Sony is still losing money on selling it.

It's still bad for Sony no matter how many they sell as they LOSE money on every PS3 sold.

360 will outsell PS3 YTD for 2008. (CHECK!)
360 will have the best showing at E3 & TGS in 2009
2009 will be another year for the 360 over PS3
End OF 2009 SALES :: 360 - 40M;  PS3 - 30M; Wii - 70M

Yes but with each PS3 produced and then sold, they get one step closer to making the process more efficient and streamlined, meaning they reduce the expenses of production. And the only way to make a profit is either increase your revenue or decrease your expenses and Sony's not about to announce a price rise for the PS3 (I would love to see that happen though, just to see something completely out of the ordinary).

By the way, I think Crazzzyman was just bored, if he were serious at all, he would have said the PS family outsold the MS family (i.e xbox 360) by over 4 times more in November.
