Forums - General Discussion - Naruto, still good?

skip a few weeks when fillers are on or skip the episodes if your downloading them. After 125 go to Shippuden which will start airing on Joost.com on Jan 12th which is the day Dattobayo stops subbing the series because Viz is hosting the subs for free on Joost.

Shippuuden > Regular Naruto IMO

Eh doesn't seem any worse to me.

Of course i'm not really a Naruto fan. More just anything with fighting that has flashy moves can keep my attention for a while.

The biggest problems still remain that the best characters get like no screen time, and the three most annoying characters are the 3 protaganests.

Though at least Captain emo isn't around much anymore.

The latest 10-15 episodes or so have had very little Naruto and therefore been very good.

You will be seeing more of Captain Emo and Naruto lol

I like Naruto now though, just because of what he's about to become in the Manga. His character just gets better lol

You know at first I hated Sakura and Naruto got on my nerves sometimes but that's the intention of the writers... You need a starting point to get character development and for them to become who they really are... Become stronger and better.

My feelings haven't changed about Sasuke, though. I still consider him to be a selfish arrogant jerk. :3

I like Naruto a lot as a character, because i really want people to notice him. Also the seduction technique, NICE! My kind of style :P And by style i meen comedy :P

Sakura is a good character, Sasuke is cool but a bit of a dick. Kakashi is the best though :D

Yeah, my favorite joke about the show is with my girlfriend... about how the most useful thing Sakura does before the age jump is get punched in the head.  (By that sand guy... she bites.)

I don't get why she didn't get a special power.

Everyone else has some sweet special ability or trick unique to their clan.

She's got nothing.

Her defining feature was "She's smarter then Naruto and Sasuke" whoopie.

I mean Shikamuru is smarter so she basically has no thing to call her own... and also she just spent most of the fights before the jump just standing there and watching everyone else get beat up.

I personally find some fillers interesting but they're not really worth watching. Shippuuden is epic. It recently became VERY interesting... ^^ *Shikamaru fangirl*

Yeah, he's my favorite character too.  That's the thing.. as much as the main character wear on me the side characters are all awesome.  (Except for Ino... but without her that squad wouldn't be the same.)

Though one piece has like a better character development everyone has a time to shine.Naruto is ok but some of the character are too sterotypical sasuke is emo, naruto is stupid and sakura is useless. But the story is still good I need to watch the anime I've been reading the manga so far and it's really interesting.

At least better than Bleach which sucks nowadays. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw seventh Espada in final form.
