Forums - General Discussion - Naruto, still good?

So i noticed there are a lot of naruto fans on this site. And i just started watching Naruto.

But one of my friends said that I should stop watching Naruto after episode 125, because onward they just suck.

I really like Naruto, and i am at episode 27 now. Should i stop after episode 125? Is it becoming that bad after that.

Also NO SPOILERS, like i said i'm only at episode 27

Thank you.

I haven't watched it since shippuuden 45...

I read the manga.

Yea, but naruto has a lot of fillers.

It is not that it becomes bad or terrible for the story or action content, but it turns into DBZ. For what should take about 4 episodes they stretch into 15 episodes... that really sucks... But that happens several times during the run up to 125, but after that point it becomes the norm.

hmmm, my friend did say it contains a lot of fillers after that.

I read the manga and it's good though one piece manga is better imo.

Stop in 135 (I think your friend told you the wrong number), and then skip the next 100 and restart directly in the 1st episode of Shippuuden. Trust me, the following 100 are fillers where nothing important happens (I haven't watched them, but I've read the summary), it adds absolutely nothing to the story. Shippuuden has the same pace as the first 135 episodes pace, and it's worth watching, if you liked the first 135, you'll like Shippuuden

Ok, maybe i'll just watch the episodes after 135 never or another time, after Shippuuden. And also, aren't there also movies or something of Naruto? Are those any good?

P.S. That snake dude from episode 29 is one wicked mofo :P

There are six movies, three from the original series and three from Shippuuden, but I haven't watched any of them, so I can't comment on them
