I was very surprised on March, when i first read his predictions for this summer (and for later). The only word that can sum up my thoughts upon them at that moment is "unbelievable".

But as the time passed, one thing became more and more clear : his views were by far more precise than others (including me) on this site.

PS : to date, your predictions for later (this christmas holidays or March 2008) are still for me "unbelievable". Hopefully you will surprise me another time ...

John Lucas is a man deserving of my praise as well. I wonder where he went off to, probably saving orphans somewhere right now if I had to venture a guess.

he is, as stated before, actually making the best predictions of us all, so being 1-2 weeks off - who cares?

he won't admit he's wrong, simply because, he ain't yet (atleast not officially..)

@kber81 - this thread will backfire. Many people here (including myself) respect the man, for having the balls to make such outlandish predicitions far ahead of time. Most people here give credit based on how close a prediction gets... I think it's equally important to consider how far ahead of time the predicition was made.

This thread isn't against John Lucas... it is against his attitude regards sale. 

Hey, I think I am a hell of a lot closer than John Lucas has been. He said by end of July, this is wrong, I said by end of August, it's obvious I will be right. He said Wii will catch 360 in NA by end of year. That is definately not going to happen. I don't see where he has been right yet.

 Plus, I think Kber81 isn't trying to be mean or attack John L., just poke fun at him. C'mon we all poked fun at Kwaad for his overzealous PS3 predictions many times.

Fair enough. To be honest, I've always seen your posts as very fair and balanced, despite the bias (which everyone here has anyway).

On a seperate note - reread my post above, then look 4 posts above yours.... look familiar . S/he is really getting annoying.

John Lucas is cool. His prediction did seem far-fetched when on the 31st July, Wii was still behind 360, but at least he stood his ground and didn't change his sig a million times.
