A Wii only game won't be on that list anytime soon. Downloading console games is too unpopular compared to pc games.

I'm pretty sure only 10% of those listed multiplat games are 360 versions and maybe 0,1% PS3 versions.

I'm surprised there are no DS games on there. Isn't it the easiest one to steal games for? You don't need to mod anything and you don't even need to know how to burn a DVD. I guess Baroziis right. Or Nintendo fans are just more ethical? Hahaha.

Should take a look at PSP piracy rates.

They kill any shot of a PSP game making meaningful profit.

I'm tellin you.  It just ain't the case.

People buy PSPs because they are pirateable, hackable and can be used for a lot of crap.

I don't know a person who owns a PSP who would of bought it if they couldn't of compromised the firmware.  I'm the only person i know who legitamitly wants a PSP only to use for it's legitamite features.

There are very few "pure" pirates out there... and those that are pure pirates end out downloading everything just because they can of stuff they'll never play.

Now THATS an excuse for bad PSP sales. Everythings piratable not just PSP. You cant blame it for its poor games sales.

-Piracy like retail purchases is demand led , a game that does crappy at retail will also get similarly low amount of downloads.

Therfore piracy will only account for a % the games sales and will usualy never be the diference between Profitability or Loss.

-If Piracy downloads have nothing to do with demand then this would indicate that the pirate has no interest in purchasing the game anyway and there is no opporunity loss in this.

-Download doesn't mean the person didn't buy the game .

-Download doesn't mean the person would have bought the game if they didn't download

- One person may download the game two or more times

- The person may not even have the right system specs for the game thus not being able to play it

- Some one who initiated the download and didn't finish it would prolly still be counted as a "download"

I doubt that many people would download their DS games via torrents. You can download them anywhere in the world wide web without much searching or troubles. Infact I just visited Google and searched for "download ds games". The first site on the list offers a lot of DS games downloadable from some filehosters.

You can only partialy blame this. You could also blame sony for a lack on interesting titles in the past 2 years. (numbers wise lol)
