Your car analogy does not work. A car needs wheels to get the main functionality out of it. The 360 does not need anything extra to perform its main functions. And my statement before does have relevance. Someone could just buy an Arcade and be able to play any game they wanted to(bar two) without any extra costs. I have yet to buy a wireless dongle, so adding that cost into the 'long run' is incorrect.

year long arcade owner here, All you need is a hard drive eventually, I wanted to play halo 3 online, and it requires the map packs to be downloaded, which dont fit on the memory card. I got a 20gb off ebay (35) (before the xbox.com deal)

I wish Black Friday was every Friday. Half price consoles is a great idea. In the poor state of affairs of the economy sales are needed. Discount Fridays would be a great thing to boost Xmas sales.
