Haven't watched any of the movies that Yann Tiersen has composed music for so I'm not familiar with his work. John Williams is also one of my favorites his work is very memorable also he wrote some of the best main themes (Superman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Jaws).
Must be Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer.
Shit. So many to choose. I have to pick Jerry Goldsmith.

The soundtrack to "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulin" is just fantastic.
