DAMNIT! XD Tie again 9-9. Looks like most MGS4 lovers recommend Uncharted hmmm.. Oh and LBP lovers kinda XD.

You miscounted the votes. The last count before this had Uncharted down 9-7, then three people voted for Uncharted afterwards, bringing the vote up to 9-10, not 9-9. There have been two votes since then, bringing the total to 12-10 in Uncharted's favor. :P

hey resistance 2 first.

its more fun. uncharted its quite short also.

Uncharted. It may be shorter than R2, but you'll play through it, like 5 times, before getting slightly bored.

I think u should get Resistance 2 now beacuse if u are planning to get Killzone 2 also dont think u will have much time to play 2 fps.

Uncharted. Great game, and offers something a bit different (compared to R2 at least). It's also cheaper, which should be a factor, since you can use the extra money for another game.

R2 is a bit boring, sort of a standard FPS, nothing too special IMO. Get it if you're really into FPS, otherwise wait till it gets cheaper.

edit: Post above reminds me, if Killzone 2 is as good as people claim, you won't need R2. Also, as one said earlier, CoD4 is a better FPS anyway.

Uncharted has now = 14 votes
Resistance 2 has now = 12 votes

Thanks you all! Im pretty sure to get Uncharted now and probably just forgett about Resistance 2.

Is there anyone here that saw something particular OMFG in Resistance 2? I mean i know about the 60 player and i even played it in the beta but i end up playing the Co-Op instead of the 60 ppl becuse the 60 ppl was more like a shoot until you die, Felt pretty pointless :/...

Could anyone give me like =

Graphics - Gameplay - Story - Replay Value - Online - Worth Playing? Ratings? Not asking for spoilers! Just would make my decision easier.

So please for those that played / own R2 and Uncharted please answer those questions and put a final rating. (I dont know any reviewers i do like IGN but i still find friends alot easier to understand + many reviews > one ).

Sorry if im a bit slow but i just want to be 100 percent sure.. As said before my mind now changed from Resistance 2 on December and Uncharted on January to Uncharted on December and Resistance 2... Never... Since KZ2 is close..

Uncharted is one of the best games I have ever played in my life.

I hope I helped.

Well, Uncharted is my surprise game I fell in love with this gen. I've beaten it eight times already which is more then I've beaten any other game this gen and mostly any other game from any other gen except for games with MGS in the title. It's just an increadible and beautiful experiance so I would say get it first although I would mention that it can easily be beaten in eight hours or so and might have little replay value to many whereas R2 has a lot of replayability with online but the campaign isn't even worth a fart from Nathan Drake.

Personally I wouldn't skip out on R2 because it really is a great game shadowed only by the fact that K2 is so close. The CO-OP is great fun. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's the funnest online gaming experiance I've had on a console this gen since COD4 if not even greater then it. This could also be because my girlfriend plays co-op with me everytime so I don't ever play alone though. Overall I'll rate R2 for you based on my opinions.

R2:

Story: 6

The truth be said, the story in R2 seems very rushed. The game seems more focused on action and little on the story that pieces those action scenes together. I believe they were trying to copy Gears of War in this manner but it didn't even really work for that game either truth be told. Also, much of the story seems better placed to set up a third installment then to work out an identity for itself. That being said, it has a huge cliffhanger ending that is amazing and could send the third installment in so many increadible ways storyline wise as long as they actually focus on the story in the third resistance. But yea, the ending is the most shocking ending to a game in a long time for me.

Replay Value: 10

This game offers A lot of replay value in my opinion. There are unlockables and collectibles for the main campaign. Including multiple difficutly settings that range from easy, medium, normal, hard, and superhuman and also an unlockable arcade mode. In addition it has 60 player online competitive matches where you unlock lots and lots of costumes and beserks by leveling up. They have some really cool costumes too by the way. Not to mention the online modes are great fun. In addition there is the amazing 8 player CO-OP with unlockable accessories and weapons and it doesn't ever really get old as the levels scale according to the players and the maps are somewhat randomized. In addition to all this the game keeps track of your rank according to performance in all three modes and the game features full trophy support.

Gameplay: 9

The game does little to distinguish itself from many other FPS's control wise. In fact it seems to copy them. It seems like a mix between Call of Duty and Halo if you can picture it. As those games both seem and are so far apart. The configuration is a lot like COD4, but the mechanics and the way the characters act are more like Halo. The guns and beserks however are how the game gets it's identity. The weapons to choose from are very unique and with the additions of alternate fire it's hard to find this much fun shooting a weapon. The auger for instance can shoot through walls and has an alternate fire that puts up a force field in front of you for a limited amount of time and is a personal favorite of mine. In addition to the guns, there are beserks. You obtain points by shooting enemies, killing enemies, meeting objectives, capturing nodes, etc. and these points fill up a meter which can then by activated when full. You can choose from one of many beserks which can half all damage dealt to you, give you a missle launcher to use for two shots, damage enemies with lightning, allow you and teammates to see through walls, make you invisible when not firing or being shot at, and many others. It is these guns and beserks which make the game so much fun to play. With these tools you are given so much ground to work with and play around. For instance you will have to find ways to get around someone's shield, or to find an invisible enemy, or which way best to attack someone who is taking half damage. Is it best to wait until the beserk is no longer activated? Attack from behind? Wait until someone else attacks him? It's a very different kind of game ultimately then many other shooters because of these factors and because of this can keep from feeling stale when the controls themselves bring little to the table.

Graphics- 8

The graphics are nice but in no way the greatest. There are some graphical flaws and hiccups but nothing major. However, some parts of the game look amazing. The game has many parts with great tecture work that reaches uncharted levels but you'll also find many places with some of the blandest textures you'll find. This is due to the size of the game. The single player is huge. The battlegrounds are huge, the enemies are huge, everything screams epic scale.  Personally, I found parts of the game that wowed me visually and other that made me go, that's really sad how poor that looks. Overall, because of the scale of the world, I forgave this and mostly remembered the increadible looking parts.
