Forums - General Discussion - No 10 Denies Shift in Euro Policy

I hope we do join the Euro. As others have siad, there is no significant economic difference between us and Europe now, but the advantages of making trade easier and reducing the price difference (we are more expensive for no apparent reason) are clear.

It's not an issue I'm willing to get angry about: both joining and not joining have similar outcomes. If we are to join, then the decision must be made before the next Conservative government, which will be at the next election as it stands now.

I am pro Euro, mainly because I don't think our Government is much better than the EU, so what for national sovreignty, what have Labour done with it in recent years? Plus, we should have a new super state of Europe, with London as the Capital and the official language English
