Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will Nintendo switch Wii Sports with Wii Sports 2 (as a bundle)?

Just wondering, because they'll really be wanting to push MotionPlus.  WS:Resort will be a big game similar in style to the first, but making heavy use of the new motion-based addition (which would surely be included in the box if this happened).

What do you think?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

i think if nintendo wants there to be a large user base of motion plus owners to entice third parties to try putting it in their games, they will.

Don't think they should get rid of Wii Sports as a bundled game unless Wii Sports resort includes the Tennis and Bowling from Wii Sports. I think those make it a much better bundled game (as a system seller that is) than Sports Report. The alternative would be to bundle both games with the Wii but given how well the Wii is selling who seriously expects them to do that.

I'm going to say no aswell. Why give them something for free when you can charge them for it and most would willingly buy (motionplus).

I don't think they will bundle the game.

People will buy it anyway because of the Wii Sports Brand.

I dont think they will. Keeping the current bundle entices people to purchase the older title, while promoting the newer.

People we're talking about a price cut. Maybe they won't do any price cut anytime soon, but they may add the Resort bundle inside the Wii package.

Eventually they'll probably bundle both, especially if console sales start to lag a bit. Probably in lieu of a real price cut.
