Hey guys, I also chose the PS3 lol. What I need to know now is the prices, bundles, etc.

Unfortunately, I live in Venezuela so things like those bundles you mention, getting the PS3 for free, is out of the question since the PS3 here is sold at a higher price than the TV I bought. 42 inch Samsung 5 series. 30,000:1 contrast @ 1080p. Price was about 3.5 million bolivares, as opposed to 4million bolivares that the PS3 is worth (if not more lol). This is why I'm buying it in the States and not here.

Personally I would get a PS3 I barely touch the 360 anymore. Plus PS3 wont nickel and dime you for everything it already has in it.

360 for sure. Hardly ever turn on my PS3s need to sale one realy if you are looking to buy. Not sure if there are any decent bundles really.

Well, who knows really? The 360 is a successful console, and it has some good games. It might be getting late in the 360's lifecycle though, so there could be the chance that if you buy one now that it might be going to be replaced by a new console from Microsoft sooner than you would like. On the other hand, the PS3 hasn't been as successful (leading to talk that it is not doing that great), it has some games that are probably better than anything on the 360 (though not as many good games overall, and it doesn't get some of the big exclusive dlc that certain games on the 360 get), and if it gets retired earlier than expected, then you would be in the same boat as if the 360 was replaced.

I guess the 360 wins with a bigger library of good games, achievements which make even old arcade games like Ms. PacMan fun again, better arcade games, and the same technological performance in games at a lower price. But, if you are a bit of a movie buff, and still have faith that Sony is going to bring out some good games, then the PS3 could also be a good choice. And, it's probably still better to buy a PS3 with blu-ray (and backwards compatability with PS1 and PS2 games if you can find one in mint condition than to buy a stand alone blu-ray player and a PS2 this Christmas, then wait to buy a PS3 later.

Anyways, thanks, think I'm going with the PS3 for 4 main reasons:

- Free Online
- Reliability
- Friend's have online aswell
- If my 360 were to break do to RROD or any other reason, I'd have to wait months for it to get fixed because I'd need to send it back to the States for the fix

Now, I need to know the prices on the PS3. How much is the 80 Gig version, what does it come with, what add-ons should I get for it, etc.

That's misleading. Yes it does exist. All HW have a chance of breaking (even wii and ps3's). and i think the 360's is still higher failure rate (even though its gotten a million times better) than wii's a ps3's... but you guys... he already made up his mind why is everyone still trying to convince him... he should now be helping him with the purchase and software sasles.
